The Junior Basics – 75 Tips to Youth Basketball Players is a textbook for youth basketball players, their parents and coaches. It is about what it is like to learn to play basketball.

The book includes 75 essential tips about for example leading an athlete’s life, operating in a team, and enhancing the effectiveness of your practices. Here you’ll find a sample of 5 tips.

The Junior Basics is small and easy to handle. You can take it anywhere in your gym bag, you can read it cover to cover or chapter by chapter, you can discuss with your teammates, coaches, or parents.

The Basics may also be personalized. The content and the graphic design may be modified to meet the needs of a team or a club. If you are interested in having a personalized  textbook to enhance your players’ learning, please contact Harri Mannonen.

The first personalized edition of The Basics was be published in 2014 by Loimaan Korikonkarit or LoKoko. The second edition was published by Kouvot in 2016. Both editions were Finnish-speaking.
